Burton v Kingsbury [2007] EWHC 2091 (QB)

William Stevenson QC and Andrew Davis instructed by Eric Robinson solicitors successfully represented a claimant who was rendered tetraplegic in a road traffic accident in 2001. The Claimant was awarded in excess of £6.3m (to be satisfied in part by periodical payments) in respect of his injuries and associated losses. The judgment (of the Honourable Mr Justice Flaux) is one of the first to deal with the issues raised in the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Crofton v NHSLA.
