Rowley v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions [2007] EWCA Civ 598

Roger ter Haar QC was instructed on behalf of the Claimants in the test case in the Court of Appeal of Rowley v Secretary of State for Work and Pensions [2007] EWCA Civ 598 in which the Court of Appeal considered as a matter of principle whether the Secretary of State can be held liable for negligence for errors in the recovery of maintenance through the Child Support Agency.
