HSE v AMEC

After a three week trial in Manchester Crown Court the jury acquitted the company after three days of deliberation.

The case concerned the fatality of the company's own health and safety supervisor who was hit by a block that fell from the 15th floor of the Spinningfields development at the heart of the city of Manchester.

John Cooper represented the company who were awarded their costs.
